Trinity Lutheran is proud to offer an all day summer day camp during the summer break from school. The program begins within a week of the final day of school and continues until one week before the start of another school year. The hours of operation is 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Summer day camp provides safe childcare in a Christian atmosphere for children from the ages of 2 through the 6th grade. Scheduled activities and events are provided everyday. Children are placed in to groups by ages and all activities and field trips are age appropriate. Activities include 1 week of Vacation Bible School, crafts, box-car derby, creating a box city, swimming lessons, roller skating, nature walks through local parks, visits to a local fire station, bowling, Sheldon Art Gallery, children's museum, City Zoo, movie theatres and swimming. Weekly schedules are posted at camp to inform parents of the weeks events. All children receive a morning and afternoon snack. Lunches are not provided by summer camp but refrigerators and microwaves are available.
