Teacher: Miss Candace Jurchen
Family info: My family is originally from Northern Minnesota. My parents now live in Washington. I live with my younger sister, and we also have two older brothers.
Ministry experience(s): I began teaching in 2001 in Rapid City, South Dakota. I taught 4th Grade and a school choir. In 2004, I came to Trinity. Now I teach 2nd Grade and Classroom Music and direct our three school choirs. During my ministry in these two locations I have been blessed to be a part of VBS, Sunday School, Christmas programs, Handbells, and Adult Choir, and I have also served as a church organist.
Hobbies: I enjoy reading while listening to music, especially film scores! If I can find the time, I also like playing piano.

Family info: I’m married to Lyle Ziems. He teaches Science, Health, Leadership at Lincoln Lutheran. I have three children; Caleb, Rebecca, and Rachel all at Lincoln Lutheran.
Ministry experience(s): I was a 6th grade teacher at Trinity for 8 years. I raised a family and home schooled PK and K. I have been a team teacher at Trinity for 6 years. I coached volleyball for 5th / 6th and was an assistant volleyball coach for 9th -12th at Lincoln Lutheran. I spent various years as an assistant girls’ basketball coach at LL, was a youth group leader for 8 years, substituted at LL, and coordinated family enrichment events for 5 years
